CCPAAA has received approval of a script they will use on behalf of the Carrollton Police Department to make contact with the violating hand bill distributer. They will notify that party of the need to have obtained Permits, specifically naming each handbill distributor, as well as offer to send to them via e-mail or fax a rendition of what the sign actually looks like in order they may train their employees properly.

A log will be created of all the complaints received and acted upon. If the same distributor becomes a repeat offender then the Police will make contact with the Prosecutor’s office to see if a citation will be issued.

CCPAAA will also be contacting those companies who already have a permit to advise them of the sign’s appearance in order they may correctly train their employees.
